Privacy

What this site knows about you.

Almost nothing, and this page says exactly what. No cookies, no third-party trackers, no consent banner — because there is nothing stored on your device to ask you about.

In short

Three claims, and the rest of the page backing them up.

No cookies

Not for analytics, not for preferences, not for anything else. Nothing is written to your browser.

No third parties

Scripts, fonts and images are all served from visor.lv. No advertising network, no external tracker.

No banner

Consent is required for storing things on your device. We store nothing, so there is nothing to ask you about.

In full

The detail, in the order people ask for it.

Last updated 20 August 2026. Material changes will move that date; the page is short enough to re-read.

  1. 01

    Who is responsible

VISOR, based in Riga, Latvia, decides what is collected here and why — the controller, in the language of the GDPR. Questions about anything on this page go to info@visor.lv and are answered by a person, not a form.

    What the site measures

Page visits are counted with Umami, self-hosted on our own server. No third party is involved and the figures never leave that server.

    • Recorded per visit: the page address, the page that referred you, screen size, browser language, page title and country.
    • Not recorded: your IP address, any device identifier, or anything at all written to your browser. Umami turns the connection details into a one-way hash with a salt that rotates every day, so yesterday's visitor cannot be matched against today's.
    • Legal basis: legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) — knowing which pages are read and which are ignored. The measurement is anonymous, so it carries no cost to you.
    • To switch it off completely, set umami.disabled to 1 in this site's localStorage. The tracker reads that flag before every request and stops.
  3. 03

    The enquiry form

The form on the contact page composes a message in your own mail client and hands it over there. Nothing is submitted to this site and nothing is stored on it — what you typed travels from your machine to your mail provider, exactly like any other email you write.

    • When you do write or call, we keep the correspondence in order to answer it and to run the work that follows from it.
    • Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and the contract itself once there is one.
  4. 04

    Hosting and delivery

The site runs on our own server in Latvia, behind Cloudflare for TLS and protection against attack. Cloudflare carries the connection and therefore sees the address it comes from, as a processor acting on our instructions — the same arrangement as almost any site reachable over the public internet.

  5. 05

    How long anything is kept

Two different answers, because the two kinds of data are not comparable.

    • Visit statistics: kept without a time limit. They hold no identifier that could lead back to a person, so there is nothing to expire.
    • Correspondence and project records: kept while the relationship is live, and afterwards for as long as Latvian accounting and limitation rules require.
  6. 06

    Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to how it is used, or receive it in a portable form. Write to info@visor.lv — we answer within one month.

    • In practice there is little to ask for: the analytics contain nothing that identifies you, so a request almost always concerns correspondence.
    • If our answer does not satisfy you, the supervisory authority in Latvia is Datu valsts inspekcija (dvi.gov.lv).

Anything on this page that is unclear, or a request about your own data, goes to info@visor.lv.
